Lawrence County E-911 received a call reporting an overturned kayak and stranded victim on Lake Charles Thursday morning.
A rescue boat from the Strawberry Volunteer Fire Department was requested to assist. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies, Arkansas Game & Fish and Officials from Lake Charles Park were on scene as well.
The victim was reportedly retrieved unharmed thanks to a life vest and the Kayak was recovered.
Units were clear from the scene at 12:26pm.
