Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting in Sharp County that occurred on Wednesday.
Sharp County Sheriff Shane Russell confirmed one person was killed in a shooting in Cherokee Village on Wednesday.
The Sheriff stated one person was detained at this time in connection to the incident.
The Cherokee Village Police Department, Sharp County Sheriff’s Office, and Arkansas State Police are investigating.
