Jessie Edward “Eddie” Parsons, 73 of Hoxie passed away September 10, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.

Born July 26, 1952, in Walnut Ridge he was the son of the late Charles and Louise Tate Parsons. He was united in marriage to Cathy Hall on December 31, 1975. Eddie was a graduate of Hoxie High School and worked as a farmer for 58 years for Cox & Stone Farm. He enjoyed hunting, spending time with his family, and hanging out with his brother up in the hills.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by two brothers, Ricky and David Parsons; and one sister, Margaret Smith,

Survivors include his wife, Cathy of the home; one son, Larry (Angie) Willfond of Walnut Ridge; one daughter, Terri (Kerry) Langston of Hoxie; six grandchildren, Kailey (Brett) Nossier and Zoe Davis both of Walnut Ridge, Brooke (Dylan) Littlejohn of Hoxie, Alison (Austin) Stover of Portia, Braiden Langston and Abel Langston both of Hoxie; eight great grandchildren, Jaxon, Xander, Zeke, Henry, Maddie, Shayna, Vivian, and Colby; three siblings, Jerry (Pam) Parsons of Calamine, Betsy (James) Dickson, and Addie (Bo) Willfond both of Walnut Ridge; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 3 PM in the Bryan Chapel with Brian Hatfield and Ray Stone officiating. Pallbearers will be Ray Stone, Ben Stone, Steven Dickson, Jeremy Dickson, Michael Parsons, and Justin Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Michael Watson, Kerry Langston, Brett Nossier, and Dylan Littlejohn. Interment will follow in the Lawrence Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Saturday from 2 PM until the time of service.
