On September 3, 2025, the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the U.S. Marshals Service in regards to a Michael Williams, 54, at a home in Ozark Acres.
Williams was wanted on a federal warrant out of Missouri for failing to register as a sex offender and is listed by the National Crime Information Center as a Sexually Violent Predator. He had also failed to register in Arkansas.
He was taken into custody without incident and transported to a federal holding facility.
