Edwin Preston Tannehill, 88 of Naylor, formerly of Hoxie, passed away September 1, 2025, at his residence.

He was born on June 1, 1937, in McAlester, OK to the late Edgar Preston and Grace Smith Tannehill. Ed owned and operated Tannehill Painting. He was very social and loved his fellow man, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, art, collecting coins, and playing billiards. He was deacon of the Assembly of God Church in Walnut Ridge, he was active with the Royal Rangers and drove the church bus for thirty years.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Joann Tannehill; his daughter, Lana Rene Mooney; and siblings, Jean Sullivan, Helen Tannehill Ruth, James Tannehill, Carl Tannehill, Joe Tannehill, and Vernon Tannehill.

Survivors include his children, Eddy (Gwen) Tannehill of Krebs, OK, Jackie (Darnell) Tunstall of Joiner, AR, Mark (Tana) Tannehill of Van Buren, MO, and Geri Bell of Russellville, AR; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a sister, Vera; a brother, Dean; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 2 PM to 4 PM at the Assembly of God Church in Walnut Ridge with a closing service following at 4 PM with Bro. Dale Hughart officiating. Interment will take place Monday, at 2 P.M. in the NoGo Cemetery in Smyrna, Arkansas.
