Habitual Offender Arrested After Pursuit

Tuesday, August 26 at approximately 6:30, Baxter County Deputy, Tanner Anderson was patrolling in the area of County Road 27 when he observed a black sports style motorcycle turn in front of him and accelerate at a high rate of speed. Deputy Anderson activated his emergency lights and siren in an attempt to stop the motorcycle.  The driver of the motorcycle turned on Wild Oak Lane and again accelerated, attempting to get away.  Wild Oak Lane is a dead-end road and at the end the motorcycle turned around and was able to get by Deputy Anderson.  The driver of the motorcycle attempted to turn onto County Road 27 and lost control on the gravel and wrecked.

When Deputy Anderson pulled up to the wrecked motorcycle, the driver was attempting to start the motorcycle. Deputy Anderson exited his patrol car and ordered the driver to lay on the ground, and the driver complied. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Baxter County Detention Center. The driver sustained no injuries.

Reckless Driving

No Liability Insurance

Failure to Yield

Felony Fleeing

Habitual Offender.

His bond was set at $15,000 pending his appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court on September 8, 2025.
