Julian Folk of Ravenden has been awarded the Colby Hostler Memorial Scholarship.
Folk is a 2025 graduate of Sloan Hendrix High School. He is the son of Alan Folk and Kristina Folk of Ravenden, and is seeking a degree in criminal justice.
The Colby Hostler Memorial Scholarship was created in memory of Colby Hostler by his parents, Steve and Rhonda Higginbotham. Colby would have graduated from Sloan-Hendrix in May 2017. To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must be graduates of Sloan-Hendrix High School and have a minimum of a 2.0 GPA.
