Jodi Shannon (Tinker) Rush, age 54 of Clewiston, Florida formerly of Annieville passed away peacefully at her home on July 19th 2025.
Jodi was born January 1st 1971 in Walnut Ridge Arkansas, later moving to Florida where she worked for over 20+ years as a paralegal.
Jodi was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Suzanne (Sue) Hightower and a son, Chase Allen Pascher.
Jodi was an active member of the First Baptist Church Of Clewiston where she served on the personnel committee, volunteering to operate the audio system and enjoyed serving in the children’s ministry. She loved her pets, enjoyed golfing, gardening, decorating and organizing. Jodi was known as dependable and loved helping others.
Jodi attended school at Sloan Hendrix Schools and was a member of the Class of 1989.
Jodi is survived by her husband of 18 years Robby Rush of Clewiston, Florida, one brother Scotty Tinker of Friendswood Texas, her dad Randy Tinker and step-mother Dorthy Carroll of Durham North Carolina and many other friends and relatives.
A memorial service in honor of Jodi Shannon (Tinker) Rush is scheduled for September 11th at 2pm at the Roberson Grove Baptist Church located at 5203 Cheek Road in Durham, North Carolina. Rev. Jack O’Neal will officiate the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Durham Chapter of the Gideons International via the Roberson Grove Baptist Church .
