Lawrence County Dispatch Center received notification of a deceased body in a residence of the 300 block of South 6th in Black Rock.
Officers with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and Black Rock Police responded to the address.
Authorities confirmed the person was deceased of an apparent self-inflicted manner. The Lawrence County Coroner was requested to the scene.
Next of kin notification was made by the Black Rock Police Department, no name has been released.
