According to Sheriff Charley Melton, the following individuals were incarcerated in the last week. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
Zachary Butler, 38 of Melbourne, was arrested on August 6th for domestic battery 3rd degree and terroristic threatening 2nd degree. Butler also was placed on a parole hold.
Samuel Copes, 22 of Oxford, was arrested on August 6th for domestic battery 3rd degree.
Mackenzie Clayton, 31 of Evening Shade, was arrested on August 9th for a warrant out of the Izard County District Court for failure to appear.
Adrian Black, 25 of Mount Pleasant, was arrested on August 10th pending formal charges related to criminal mischief, leaving the scene of an accident, and driving on a suspended driver’s license.
Charles Burton, 44 of Bloomfield MO, was arrested on August 10th for defective vehicle lights, DWI, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
