A judge found probable cause to charge Charles and Brandy Vick with introduction of a controlled substance into the body of another person and first-degree child endangerment.

The charges are the result of a home visit with DHS where an investigator reported the child’s mother Chloe Yun and Brandy Vick appeared to be under the influence. Court documents say that 22-year-old Chloe Yun and her two children were living with grandparents 41-year-old Brandy Denise Vick and 43-year-old Charles Anthony Vick.

The investigator also reported seeing a knife and a pipe with marijuana within arm’s reach of the two children.

Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division received a referral from the Department of Human Services regarding endangered children and drug use at a home on Shady Lane in June.

Yun was given a drug test and failed for meth, THC, and amphetamine according to the affidavit. Brandy Vick refused to take a drug test.

During her interview with DHS, Yun admitted that all three used drugs together every day.

Yun continued by telling DHS investigators that they make and sell meth, as well.

The children were taken into protective custody by DHS and taken to a medical clinic.

Both children tested positive with “shockingly high levels” for methamphetamine, THC, and amphetamine according to court documents.

On July 16, a judge found probable cause to charge all three, Chloe Yun, Brandy Vick, and Charles Vick with the following:

Introduction of a controlled substance into the body of another person, a Class Y felony

Endangering the welfare of a minor, a Class D felony

Both Charles Vick and Brandy Vick were arrested and are being held on $75,000 bond in the Sharp County Jail, Chloe Yun has outstanding warrants and was not in custody at the time of this article.
