IZARD COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE WEEKLY INCARCERATION REPORT

July 21st, 2025

According to Sheriff Charley Melton, the following individuals were incarcerated in the last week. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

Kaden Williams, 20 of of Batesville, was arrested on July 14th on a warrant for failure to appear out of the Izard County District Court.

Michael Ashworth, 31 of Melbourne, was arrested on July 15th for disorderly conduct.

Evans Elms, 83 of Melbourne, was arrested on July 16th for domestic battery, interference with emergency communications, and violation of a protection order.

Joseph Steinkampf, 19 of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested on July 17th for probation violations.

Jordan Norcross, 21 of Silom Springs, was arrested on July 17th on a warrant out of the Izard County District Court for failure to appear.

Charles Branch, 39 of Brockwell, was arrested on July 17th for contempt of court out of the Izard County Circuit Court.

Philip Baugh, 46 of Mountain View, was arrested on July 18th pending formal charges related to possession of a controlled substance and firearms charges.

Stacy Smtih, 46 of Mountain View, was arrested on July 18th pending formal charges related to possession of a controlled substance and firearms charges.

David Talley, 53 of Violet Hill, was arrested on July 18th for domestic battery 3rd degree.

Daniel Moser, 43 of Melbourne, was arrested on July 20th for ATV on highway, endangering the welfare of a minor, open container of alcohol, and DWI.

Ashley Smith, 43 of Melbourne, was arrested on July 20th for ATV on highway, endangering the welfare of a minor, open container of alcohol, driving on a suspended driver’s license, and DWI.
