Incumbent candidate 3rd Judicial Prosecutor Devon Holder released the following this week announcing his candidacy for reelection.
Holder stated:
“I am excited to officially launch my Re-Election Campaign!”
Four years ago, my campaign slogan was “Safer Communities.” This time it is “Safer Communities, Proven Results.”
Here are the proven results: I’ve taken a high number of violent criminals to jury trials and won. I’ve started a Drug Task Force that has taken more than $12,000,000.00 in illegal drugs off the streets. I’ve given more than a combined 1,000 years to those who have committed felonies against children. I’ve improved rehabilitation efforts for low level offenders.
It’s not a coincidence that crime in the district has gone down.
I want your support so I can keep pushing the crime rates down for another 4 years.
