Tomato and Mozzarella Caprese
Garden fresh tomatoes
Mozzarella
Basil Leaves
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Balsamic Vinegar
Sea Salt and Pepper
Crushed red pepper if desired for some added heat.
Wash and slice your tomatoes.
Slice fresh mozzarella
Layer your tomatoes and mozzarella. Tuck whole basil leaves between the layers as you go.
Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Sprinkle with sea salt and pepper add in crushed red pepper flakes if you like.
