Randolph County Sheriff Kevin Bell released the following warning after Deputies discovered $3500 in counterfeit bills on a traffic stop.
Attention businesses:
Today deputies and ASP discovered 35 fake $100 bills on a traffic stop in Pocahontas. The suspect is in custody. There’s a good chance some of these fake $100’s were passed in our area. They all have the same serial number and the word “COPY” on the front upper left area. They are printed on standard paper.
