Great job goes out to our Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) division for another arrest.

On May 6th, JPD’s ICAC Division received a cyber tip from the Arkansas State Police ICAC Unit. This tip included an IP address, cellphone number, and email account for Daniel Mooneyham.

A search warrant for the accounts attached to Mooneyham was issued, and a large amount of child sexual assault material was detected within the emails sent and received through these accounts. A search warrant was conducted at his business located on E. Nettleton. During the search warrant, Mooneyham’s phone and laptop were located, and detectives discovered images of CSAM on these devices. Mooneyham was advised of his rights per Miranda, which he stated that he understood. Mooneyham stated that he views and possesses CSAM on his devices.

Mooneyham appeared before Judge Fowler and received the charges of 5-27-603 POSSESSION OR USE OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE MATERIAL(Felony B). He also received a $75,000 cash surety bond and no internet access.
