Paragould PD arrested a Corning man after authorities say he pulled a gun on another driver during a road rage incident.

21-year-old Jeremy Hammock of Corning was charged with one count of aggravated assault, a Class D felony.

On June 21st, Paragould PD received a 911 call about a road rage incident that allegedly started in Craighead County and ended at the intersection of Barnhill and Carroll Roads.

Officers arrived on scene and

noticed the defendant, Jeremy Hammock, was armed with a pistol.

The victim said Hammock followed him and confronted him.

The victim stated that the defendant pointed the firearm at him during the incident.

Hammock was interviewed at the police station, during a Mirandized interview, Hammock gave self-incriminating statements.

Hammock was arrested and is being held on a $5,000 cash-only bond.

A no-contact order with the victim was also issued by the judge.
