Authorities report a man has drowned Monday in the Spring River.
The drowning occurred Monday evening, June 9th in the Spring River at Hardy.
Sharp County 911 Dispatch received a report of a possible drowning at Buford Beach around 6:30 p.m. Monday evening.
Authorities say multiple agencies responded to the area and after an extensive search, the body of Justin Toney was recovered from the river at around 8 p.m.
The incident is still under investigation.
