Isaac Graham Land, age 18 was arrested on May 30, 2025, after authorities found him hiding under a bed with a loaded handgun in a Stone County.

Law enforcement was dispatched to a home after residents reported a man with a gun.

Two juveniles at the residence denied any knowledge of the situation, law enforcement searched the home but did not locate the suspect.

The homeowner reported about 10 minutes later that the suspect had been found hiding under a bed.

When officers returned, a resident stated she saw part of a shoe under her bed, that matched what the suspect had previously worn.

Land was found lying under the bed with his hand on a Glock 17 that was loaded and pointed toward an officer.

Land complied and he was taken into custody without further incident.

Authorities report the handgun contained ten rounds, including one in the chamber.

Land later admitted to hiding when he saw police and admitted pointing the firearm at law enforcement.

Land, a previously convicted felon is prohibited from possessing firearms due to a felony conviction on May 13, 2025.

Land was transported to the Stone County Jail, charged with three felonies: possession of firearms by a certain person, aggravated assault, and breaking and entering. Land is also being charged as a habitual offender.

Land’s bond has been set at $75,000.
