The Strawberry Volunteer Fire Department was recognized yet again for their participation and commitment at this year’s 2025 Arkansas Fire Boat School.

This was the 16th annual, Strawberry Fire has participated in 15 of the 16. More than 100 departments were present to learn new skills and sharpen other skills. Boat crews came from as far as Texas and Missouri to participate.
Arkansas Fire Boat School provides opportunities for departments with boats to review safety protocols and train with other boat crews and emergency responders.
Numerous training scenarios were set up on Degray Lake and the Caddo River for the teams to take part in.
