According to Sheriff Charley Melton, the following individuals were incarcerated last week. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
Mariano Tolentino, 39 of Melbourne, was arrested on May 10th for fictitious license plate, no insurance, and no driver’s license.
Jonathan Corter, 39 of Sidney, was arrested on May 13th for aggravated assault on a family or household member and criminal mischief. Corter also had a failure to appear warrant out of the Izard County District Court.
Cole Breeden, 32 of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested on May 13th for domestic battery 3rd degree.
Randy Baxter, 64 of Calico Rock, was arrested on May 14th for domestic battery 3rd degree, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Lee Hagen, 57 of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested on May 14th for contempt of court.
Nathan Hellums, 34 of Hardy, was arrested on May 14th on a warrant out of the Izard County Circuit Court for failure to appear.
Madison Burchett, 23 of Melbourne, was arrested on May 15th on a warrant out of the Izard County District Court for battery 3rd degree.
Leeland Slusher, 62 of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested on May 15th for driving left of center, DWI, and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
James Powell, 20 of Melbourne, was arrested on May 15th for two counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual indecency with a child, employing or consenting to the use of a child in a sexual performance, and resisting arrest.
Kaiden Withrow, 23 of Calico Rock, was arrested on May 16th for possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.
Evans Elms, 83 of Melbourne, was arrested on May 16th for domestic battery 3rd degree.
Hunter Sells, 28 of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested on May 17th for domestic battery 3rd degree and possession of an instrument of crime.
Joseph McGowen, 51 of Calico Rock, was arrested on May 18th for criminal use of a prohibited weapon, criminal mischief, and parole/probation violations.
