Springtime turtle traffic in Arkansas!

Warmer weather means turtles are on the move to find mates and nesting spots. That’s why you might see them cruising through your yard or crossing roads.
Give them a brake and let them safely pass! If you see one in your yard, he’s likely just moving from one place to another, so just leave him be, and let him move on through. Odds are good he’s not planning to set up camp in your yard!
