Walnut Ridge, AR — [May 10, 2025] — The Wings of Honor Museum is honored to announce it has been awarded a $1,000 grant from the Jonesboro Sam’s Club to support its Combat Wounded Parking Sign initiative. This grant, approved by Club Manager Lauren Tripp, allows the museum to provide a limited number of complimentary “Combat Wounded” parking signs to businesses across Northeast Arkansas.
Production of the signs will begin on Monday, and businesses that submitted a request through the official form will be notified when their sign is ready for pickup.
Businesses interested in participating can still submit their request using the form below. At this time, we are limiting distribution to one sign per business due to the initial quantity available.

If sign requests exceed our current inventory, businesses will be added to a waiting list and contacted once additional supplies become available through future grant opportunities.
We would like to extend a special thank you to BuildASign.com for working closely with us to maximize the number of signs we could produce through this generous grant. Their support helped stretch every dollar to serve more businesses and honor more veterans in our region.
“This program is a simple but meaningful way to recognize Purple Heart recipients and highlight their sacrifice in our communities,” said Terrence Ward, President of the Wings of Honor Museum. “We’re incredibly grateful to Club Manager Lauren Tripp, Sam’s Club, and BuildASign for helping make this possible.”
