Court filings show a Sharp County woman was arrested this week on charges related to child sexual exploitation.
Rebecca Huffmaster, age 30, was charged with sexually grooming a child, and two counts of conspiracy to committ rape or have sexual intercourse with a person less than 14 years of age. Bond was set at $100,000 cash or professional.
Jesse Wilson, age 34, of Cherokee Village and a neighbor to Huffmaster, identified by authorities as a co-conspirator in the case, was arrested and charged with possession of computer child pornography and possession of firearms by a certain person.
Authorities say Wilson’s seized cell phone contained 40 child sexual assault and beastiality photos. A search also revealed messages between Wilson and Huffmaster with multiple references to sexual activities involving minors.
Huffmaster admitted to ASP investigators the messages in which the two discussed planning sexual assaults of young children.
Huffmaster admitted to deleting the messages from her phone when Wilson was arrested.
Huffmaster and Wilson are currently in the Sharp County Detention Center.
