On April 10, 2025, an officer with the Corning Police Department observed a female passenger in a vehicle with an active felony warrant. The officer conducted a traffic stop, and upon coming to a stop, the female passenger exited the vehicle and fled on foot.
Following a brief chase, the officer subdued and took the individual into custody. Heather Fiebrabtz, a 41-year-old resident of Corning, was arrested and charged with felony failure to appear and misdemeanor fleeing on foot.
A deputy arrived on the scene and assisted the officer by transporting Fiebrabtz to the Clay County Detention Center.
