Gayla Jean Nelson, 62, of Pocahontas passed away December 29, 2024, at Jacksonville, Arkansas.
Born November 10, 1962, in Mississippi, daughter of the late Joseph and Ida Kendall. She worked in sales and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Lisa Foster.
Survivors include her daughter, Lena Hackworth of Walnut Ridge; three grandchildren, Tyler Hall of Bentonville, Chase and Paige Hall both of Walnut Ridge; significant other Larry Jo Baltz of Pocahontas and family, Hunter (Destiny) Baltz of Jacksonville, Joey (Heather) Baltz, Whitney and Colton Baltz all of Pocahontas; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial Visitation will be Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, from 5 P.M. till 7 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel in Hoxie.
