According to the Arkansas State Police, a crash in Sharp County has claimed the life of a Batesville woman.
The Arkansas State Police Fatal Crash Report stated the accident happened at 10:57 p.m. on Dec. 4th at Highway 167 and East Maxville Road north of Cave City.
ASP preliminary fatal crash summary stated that 29-year-old Sandi Zahn was walking in the northbound lane when a 2001 Dodge Ram traveling north toward Evening Shade hit her.
The pickup truck driver was not identified.
The report says the weather was clear and the road dry when the crash happened. The accident was investigated by the Arkansas State Police.
