James Alan Williams, 66, passed away on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on July 11, 1958, in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late J.T. and Mabel Williams.
Alan graduated from Walnut Ridge High School and attended the University of Arkansas, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He was a passionate Razorback fan and supporter. Alan also loved concerts and traveling.
Alan’s blessings were his three children, and new grandson. He cherished the time he could spend with his family and was so proud of all his children’s accomplishments. He was also an awesome “Poppy” to his bonus grandchildren.
Alan is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Hinton Williams of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and his children Clay Williams (Caroline), Claire Williams Westbrook (Cooper), and Caleb Williams, all of Dallas, Texas. He was also the proud Grandfather of Rory Andrew Williams. His siblings include John Williams of Walnut Ridge, Bill Williams (Dee Ann) of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Anne Williams Edwards (Jerry) of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
