Lawrence County Deputies on Saturday evening were attempting to make contact with a wanted subject at a residence south of Hoxie on Hwy 367.
Deputies reported as they arrived they saw the subject identified as Logan Minton flee out of the residence into a tree line behind the property.
Lawrence County officials requested assistance from Hoxie Police, Arkansas State Police and a tracking dog from the Black Rock Police Department.
Officers set up a perimeter around the area where Minton was last seen.
Minton then contacted a family member on scene and agreed to surrender to Black Rock Chief Bryan Archer, whom he was familiar with.
Chief Archer was able to make contact with Minton and he surrendered without further incident.
While on scene, Lawrence County Deputies had contact with a female that was accompanying Minton, the female admitted to officers that she was wanted by authorities out of Lonoke County Arkansas. She was identified as Lauren Anderson of Cabot.
Both Minton and Anderson were transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center, Minton will receive a bond hearing next week and Anderson is expected to be extradited back to Lonoke County to face her charges.
Minton is currently charged with Fleeing, Theft Of Property and Felony Failure To Appear.
