BRTC announced Louie Simkins of Hoxie has been awarded the John and Wilma Whitlow Scholarship for Hoxie Graduates.
Simkins, a 2023 graduate of Hoxie High School, is seeking a degree in fire science.
He is the son of Gerald and Heidi Simkins.
