Lynn – Tuesday July 18th at the Lynn Community Center from 3:00-7:00 pm
Walnut Ridge- Wednesday July 19th at Larkspur Gardens Community Room from 10:00 am- 1:00 pm
Imboden- Thursday July 20th at the Imboden Community Center from 3:00-7:00 pm
The LEARNS Act (Act 237) is a broad bill that makes changes to multiple aspects of the state’s education system, including teacher pay, per-student funding, graduation requirements and annual student testing. It could adversely affect every public school in the state.
54,000 valid signatures must be turned in to the Secretary of State’s office by July 31.
Hundreds of former, present educators, and those who support public education around the state, are volunteering their time to make sure the people get a chance to vote on this issue.
