Total COVID-19 cases increased to 27,864 after an additional 1,061 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. The Arkansas Department Health also reported an additional 548 recoveries bringing the total number to 21,290 recovered. No new deaths were reported on Saturday.
Several counties in North East Arkansas recorded significant increases including Craighead, Crittenden, Mississippi, and Randolph. There are currently 5,847 active cases in the state.
