According to the Arkansas Department of Health the Ash Flat Healthcare Facility has seen a spike in positive COVID-19 cases recently, enough of an increase that Governor Hutchinson and Dr. Nate Smith made mention during the daily news conference of the spike in Sharp County.
According to ADH the facility has had a total of 28 patients and 9 staff members test positive for the virus. There have also been 2 confirmed deaths already within the facility.
According to the Arkansas Department Of Health, patients and staff have all been tested at the facility.
