Bobby Dean Huskey was born January 22, 1934 in Strawberry, Arkansas to parents Charles Gerphus Huskey and Olene (Gardner) Huskey. He was united in marriage to Florence Lee Black December 24, 1954
Bobby Dean was proceeded in death by his parents, an infant son James Allen Huskey, son Ronald Dean “Ronnie†Huskey, and sister Loretta Huskey Jones.
Bobby is survived by his wife Florence Huskey of the home, son Roger (Danielle) Huskey of Smithville, grandsons Eric (Heather) Huskey of Strawberry, Brent (Keitha) Huskey of Imboden, Adam (Brittney) Huskey of Paragould, Mike (Rhonda) Hamilton of Lampasas, TX, Alex (Megan) Barnes of Cocoa Beach FL, Megan (Nathan) Hulsey of Marion, and Emily (Evan) Seivers of Nashville,TN ,nephews Lanny (Brenda Sue) Jones of Strawberry and Kerry (Net) Jones, great-grandchildren Jody (Cody) Brannon, Dawson (Katelynn) Snyder, Vanessa Hamilton, Shelby Hoggard, Shanna Hoggard, Lanae Hamilton, Lexi Hamilton, Katelyn Grady, Julian Richard, Elias Huskey, Peyton Huskey, Sloan Seivers, Isaac Huskey, Fisher Huskey, and Olivia Huskey, and many other family and friends.
Bobby Dean Huskey was the hardest working man that his family and friends have ever met. He loved the land and farmed it for most of his life. Even after retirement, Bobby still grew several acres of gardens and sold the vegetables to keep himself busy. He was married to the love of his life for 65 years and his face lit up whenever she entered the room. He was an avid hunter and trapper his whole life. He also enjoyed trips to Alaska, whether it was for hunting wild game or taking his family on Alaskan adventures. In later years, his enjoyment came from the many stories that he would tell of his various travels and giving life lessons. Bobby loved to be surrounded by family and friends. His greatest joys came from watching his great grandchildren play and laugh.
