The Hoxie Fire Department, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and AET Ambulance of Walnut Ridge were paged to an accident on Hwy 67 Sunday afternoon.
The accident was reported to be in Lawrence County on Hwy 67 but responders found the wreck to be just across the Jackson County line in front of the old Bob Kings.
The Hoxie Fire Department assisted the Jackson County Office of Emergency Services by containing a fuel spill and assisting with traffic while the truck was recovered by Ray J’s Wrecker Service.
Officers from Lawrence County remained on scene until Jackson County officers arrived. According to Will Tate from the Hoxie Fire Department, approximately 75 gallons of fuel was spilled in the wreck. There were no injuries reported in the accident.
