As part of the 6th grade students studies of the Hunter’s Education Program, Mr. Chuck Long from the Arkansas Game & Fish visited Mrs. Dail’s class. The students are incorporating Arkansas History and Hunter’s Education in Mrs. Dail’s class.
Mr. Long discussed Hunter Ethics and Safety with the students. He brought several furs from Arkansas wildlife and identified them to the students. He discussed Arkansas hunting laws and bag limits of each animal. Mrs. Dail is completing the course with the 6th grade students, and will be giving the Arkansas Hunter’s Education test to them. Students passing the test will receive their hunter’s education certification, which is required for hunters in the state of Arkansas.
