At 3:45pm the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call of a house fire in Black Rock. The Lawrence County Dispatch paged the Black Rock Volunteer Fire Department, AET Ambulance of Imboden and notified the Black Rock Police Department.
 Officers with the Black Rock Police Department were on scene at the fire soon after the call, reporting that the residence was totally involved. The structure was a total loss, witnesses stated the home was not occupied at the time of the fire.
There were no injuries in the blaze. Special “Thank You” to Gene Ponder with AET Ambulance for the pictures. Black Rock Volunteer Firefighters were on scene until shortly after 6pm.
