Jonesboro Police announced today that last week JPD led a multijurisdictional sex offender compliance operation. Targets included 120 registered sex offenders in Craighead County with an emphasis on moderate to high-risk sex offenders.

At the conclusion of “Operation Spring Cleaning”, Agents arrested/cited thirty-four people during the operation.

Those arrested were charged with various offenses including firearm possession, drug possession, and failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements. One person is pending investigation for possession of child sexual abuse material.
