Lawrence County officials are on scene in Saffell after the Lawrence County Dispatch Center received a report of a possible unattended death in a house fire in the 300 block of Hwy 25 in Saffell.
Saffell Fire Department, ProMed Ambulance and Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies were all dispatched to the scene at 6:48 am on Tuesday morning.
Deputies arrived on scene and confirmed the resident was deceased and contacted the Lawrence County Coroner’s office.
No names have been released at this time.
Law enforcement is still on scene at this time.
