Emergency crews continued a search on Monday for a missing man.
Authorities say a 62-year-old man disappeared on Saturday afternoon north of Rosie near the White River. Law enforcement reported man’s side-by-side was recovered.
At this time authorities believe the man tried to cross a low water bridge and was swept into the river.
Authorities are not yet releasing the man’s name.
Several departments including the Independence County Sheriff’s Department, Independence County Office of Emergency Management, Southside and Northside Fire Departments, Arkansas Game and Fish Commission are involved in the search for the missing man.
