The Spring River Chronicle is reporting this morning that a suspect has been arrested in the July 2022 murder of a Fulton County Sheriff’s Department employee.

From the SRC:
Fulton County Sheriff Jake Smith confirmed his department has made an arrest in the murder of sheriff’s department employee Kristy Taylor in July. Taylor’s husband Harvey John Taylor and Thomas Sanchez were arrested and charged with first degree murder in the case. Taylor was arrested last night.
Because Kristy was an employee of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Taylor is being held in the Baxter County Detention Center.
Sanchez is being extradited to Arkansas from Texas where he was arrested a few weeks ago by US Marshals. Bond has been set at $1 million for both men.
The Arkansas State Police began the investigation into the shooting of Kristy Marie Taylor, 57 who was killed outside her home on July 9.
Family members discovered her lying outside her home on Farmwood Road near Elizabeth around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 9 and made a call to dispatch. At first a witness close to the family said they did not notice any blood. First responders and the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to the scene. Taylor was apparently shot.
Taylor had worked for the Fulton County Sheriff’s office for about 9-10 years and was also a bus driver for the Viola School District and was well loved in the community.
