On Sunday January 1st, law enforcement was called to a residence on Hwy 361 in Lynn.
Authorities responded to reports of a woman making threats with a weapon and damaging property at a family members home.
42 year old Amanda Burks was arrested by Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies on charges of Aggravated Assault On A Family Member, Endangering The Welfare Of A Minor, Terroristic Threatening and Domestic Battery.
Burks is currently incarcerated in the Lawrence County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
