Cody Dale Carter, 41 passed unexpectedly from this world on July 16, 2022 doing what he loved best, spending time with family and friends. When Cody was seen he always had a smile on his face and he always had a joke to make any situation better. He had many titles, amazing husband and father, son, brother, friend to many, hunter, fisherman, fan of the Razorback(was very enthusiastic about yelling at them when they were playing on tv) and a police officer who was always willing to go above and beyond helping out in every situation. Cody was an exceptional man that loved with his whole heart and let all connected with him know that special part of him and know they were loved. Cody worked at the county jail for 10 years and then went on to work as a Police Office and DTF Agent for the 2nd Judicial Drug Force. Cody was preceded in death by 3 special angel babies and by his brother: Derek Carter. He is survived by his loving wife: Lindsay (Waldron) Carter, a daughter: Kailyn (K.K.) Carter,2 sons: Lawson Carter and Justice Carter, his parents: Ricky and Rhonda Carter, a sister:Spring and Mason Knight, sister-in-law: Kelly Parks, 3 nieces and 3 nephews and a host of other special family and friends.Visitation will be held on Thursday July 21, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the First General Baptist Church of Rector. Funeral Services will be held on Friday July 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the First General Baptist Church with Bro. Ken Price officiating.
