The Southern Baptist Convention has released a more than 200 page report of alleged abusers from congregations that are a part of the SBC organization.

One local former youth pastor from Northeast Arkansas was listed on that report for an allegation in 2012.

The report names Paul “Kevin” Hendrix as a former youth minister at the First Baptist Church in Cherokee Village, AR.

Hendrix was arrested in 2012 by the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office and admitted he had engaged in sexual activities with a 14-year-old girl.

Hendrix was convicted later that year and fined $3,500, sentenced to 120 months of probation, and required to register as a sex offender.
