My name is Bart Schulz. I’m a proud 5th generation farmer raising beef cattle and broiler chickens alongside my wife, Brandi, and our four boys in Sidney; a rural community of 180 people, located in southwest Sharp County.

In addition to the farm, I am the General Manager of Spring River Paramedic Ambulance Service which provides the highest level of ambulance care available in Arkansas to all of Sharp County, a large portion of Fulton County, and a small portion of Independence County.

I have served on the Sharp County Quorum Court for over 10 years the past 3 years as budget chairman overseeing all aspects of the construction and implementation of the county budget.

I’m also proud to say I’ve been a volunteer fireman since 1987 serving my Sidney community on the Department that was founded by my Father and Uncle.

Giving back to my community has always been important to me. Over the past 10 years, I have served on various boards and committees. One that I am especially proud of is the Northeast Arkansas Regional Intermodal Authority whose mission is to work with local infrastructure and identify ways to bring more and better jobs to the area. Intermodal played a large role in recruiting Emerson, a Fortune 500 company, into the vacant plant in Ash Flat this past year. Emerson will eventually provide hundreds of jobs to this entire district and I am really hopeful for the growth this means for our area.

The challenges facing our country, state, and small communities are unlike anything I have ever seen. Now more than ever I feel compelled to ensure that rural conservative values are well represented in Little Rock.

After a great deal of prayer, I am proud to be running as a Republican for the newly formed Arkansas House District 28 which includes portions of Sharp, Independence, Lawrence, and Stone Counties.

This is a unique opportunity for rural Arkansas to have equal representation at the state level. With over a decade of experience advocating for quality jobs, vocational education, and public health and safety, I am well-equipped and ready to go to work for the betterment of this district.

I understand our district because I’ve spent my life here. As your next state representative, I commit to being a strong voice for our rural conservative values.

I have an A rating with the NRA and am the only candidate in District 28 endorsed by the Arkansas Right to Life Committee for my stance on protecting the rights of the unborn.

I have enjoyed meeting many of you over the past few months and speaking about the issues that matter to Arkansans like you and me. My personal cell phone number and contact information are published below and I welcome your input and am happy to speak with you.

I humbly ask for your prayers and your support in the Republican Primary on May 24th. Thank you and God bless.
