On March 19, 2022, The Pocahontas Police Department began an investigation into Cameron M. Todd of Pocahontas.
Todd is a Level 2 Registered Sex Offender. The Pocahontas Police Department, with the assistance of Arkansas State University Police executed a search warrant on Todd’s local business.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Todd was suspected to have at least 29 different social media accounts that were not reported on his Sex offender Verification Form that is a required.
Todd was arrested on A.C.A. 12-12-904 Failure to Comply with Registration and Reporting Requirements, a C Felony (29 Counts).
Todd was previously charged with the same offense on August 3, 2021 by the Randolph Sherriff’s Department and was out on bond.
Todd went before Judge Johnson on May 4, 2022. Judge Johnson set a $35,000 cash or surety bond on TODD.
In 1999, Cameron Todd was indicted in the Chickasaw County Mississippi Circuit Court on three counts of sexual battery and one count of fondling perpetrated against a female child who was under the age of fourteen.
Todd has also previously been charged with Sexual Battery in May of 2009 in Bolivar County Mississippi and again charged with Sexual Battery in Carroll County Mississippi in 2011.
Todd was a former Houston Mississippi Police Officer for approximately 1 1/2 years before being charged in the 1999 sexual battery of a child.
