Authorities say the man who shot himself after a high-speed chase Monday night in Paragould was a suspect in a Fulton County murder.
The high speed chase ended in a crash on Highway 412.
This morning, Fulton County authorities confirmed Rodney Trammell, Jr. was the suspect in the chase. Tramell was wanted after Larry Galloway, age 45, was found deceased in a submerged vehicle last week.
Greene County investigators learned where Trammell was and called out SWAT teams from both Greene County and Paragould PD.
Trammell left the residence according to reports and an Arkansas State Police trooper attempted to stop the vehicle.
Trammell refused to stop, leading to the chase which ended when Trammell’s Jeep crashed into a pole and rolled over.
Officers ran up to the suspect’s vehicle as the suspect pulled a weapon, and shot himself, according to authorities.
