Authorities are reporting that a suspect is in custody after White River Medical Center in Batesville received a bomb threat Wednesday evening.
White River Health System announced in a social media post that no device was found during a search of the facility.
The building was secured by the Batesville Police Department and WRMC Security personnel until a search by bomb specialists could be completed.
WRMC stated “We want to thank the employees on duty tonight for ensuring our patients were well cared for throughout this incident. Due to the professional and immediate response by the Batesville Police Department a suspect is in custody.â€
The suspects identity has not been released by authorities at the time of this article, we will continue to update as information is released.
