John David “Dave†Creed, 70 of Black Rock; died December 9, 2021.
Born August 9, 1951, in Flint, MI; son of the late Johnnie and Charlene Brandon Creed. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Marines. Dave united in marriage to Alice Fleming in 1982. He was a general laborer and owned and operated The Tire Shop in Black Rock. Dave enjoyed cars, motorcycles, guns, and dogs.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his stepfather, Charles Clark.
Survivors include his wife, Alice of the home; four children, Rachel McGowan, Clio, MI, Juanita Martin of Bono, Charlene Scrivner of Tumbling Shoals, and Alvin (Paige) Creed of Maynard; several grand and great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service will take place Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 2 P.M. till 4 P.M. in the Black Rock School Cafeteria. Interment of his cremains will take place at a later date in the Oak Forest Cemetery.
