Wesley Edward Adams, 61, of Sedgwick, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. He was born November 29, 1960, to Loyd and Mary Adams. Wesley was the volunteer fire Chief for the Sedgwick Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking. Wesley was always willing to help others and the community. Wesley was a member of the Abundant Life Church in Paragould. Above all, he was a devoted family man.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Ambriel Neal; and siblings, Patsy Hartsell, Teresa Emerson, and David Adams.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Zelda May Adams; daughters, Jennivy Gail Headley (Howard), Zelda May Adams (Joe); siblings, Butchy Adams (Janie), Mary Jane Whitlock (Williams R.), Terry Adams (Roma), Janet Kain (Ralph), Donnie Adams (Mary); and grandchildren, Ashton Neal, Preston Neal, Sylvia Adams, Jacob Adams, Hunter Adams, and Wesley Ethan Adams.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 10, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral will be on Saturday, December 11, at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Tim Ohler officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. 
Wilson Richey, Heath Ring, James Larkin, John Williams, Jeff McGinty, and Dakota Rice will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Howard Headley, Preston Neal, Joe Adams, Sylvia Adams, Ashton Neal, Jacob Adams, Hunter Adams, and Wesley Ethan Adams.Â
